So what exactly is Home Automation?
A home with Home Automation or ‘IQ’ as we like to call it uses automation products to link all electrical devices so they communicate with each other. How it all began……..
Tony Cheeseman, our Managing Director has spent 30 years working in the construction industry, primarily designing and installing electrical and mechanical systems.

10 years ago his company began installing automation systems in commercial buildings and as a result began to receive requests from residential properties. The concept was then in its infancy and the limited systems on the market meant that their applications could only be afforded by owners of top end properties.

Tony has set out to source products more suited to the mass market and as a result has launched IQYourHome.com specifically to make Home Automation at affordable prices a reality. The advance of technology means that IQ is now able to offer affordable systems, installation and service that will enable all properties whatever their price, to have Home Automation installed.

Our vision
Home Automation will soon be as common as central heating or any other household appliance. We will probably wonder how we coped without it. The next generation of homeowners will certainly expect this technology as a matter of course.
